We were cheerfully greeted when we walked in from the chilly night and seated by the window. Natalie was our terrific server. We started with a very nice clam chowder with bacon. Our entrees of Beef Short Ribs and Salmon & Shrimp were great choices for us. Both of us had mushroom risotto and asparagus for our sides. We look forward to returning to this restaurant on our next visit.

Ordered here around dinner time, great/calm atmosphere, very cozy. The staff was great all around, very attentive to our needs. Waited maybe 10-15min at most for one of their specialty burgers and pasta with shrimp. Found our new spot!

The food and service were exceptional. Friendly server and good portioned meal (I had the Club Sandwich). I added a cup of the Clam Chowder which was excellent. I sat in the bar area where there were numerous TV's for watching sports. I highly recommend this place if you'd like a lively and social atmosphere with great food.

The mushroom risotto is really good! The salmon was the best dish out of eating here a few times- would recommend it with the risotto and with the house Chardonnay. Right off of Main Street area in Yakima downtown so easy walk. Comfortable seating and very wide menu so you can please everyone!

We came to Second Street Grill on a road trip. We are happy we stopped by - the food, drinks and service were great and they had a good kids menu - which for us is a must have.

Very nice place. Excellent food portions. We had the Ahi Tuna Salad, BBQ Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Needless to say the portions are generous and none of us cleaned our plates. The Ahi Tuba Salad is a go to favorite of my brother in law. Amply portioned and well put together. It looked amazing and he had no complaints! As a local, it is a favorite for him. My sister had the BBQ Ribs. She enjoyed them immensely and took her leftovers home as there was plenty of food on her plate. My shrimp and grits were fan-freaking-tastic! The grits were creamy and well prepared with just enough heat to give good spice but not burn up your tastebuds! The shrimp were tender and cooked perfectly. The downside is that like so many places the tails are left on so my fingers get messy BUT it was so good! I too had leftovers and they were oh so good the next day for lunch! I highly recommend and definitely want to go back.

Really crisp and tasty bacon on my bacon cheese burger. This place surprised me. My initial impression when I stepped inside was a TGI Friday's chain restaurant experience - but I was WRONG. It's MUCH better. I got a classic burger with cheddar and added bacon. The sandwich was awesome and clearly put together by chefs who have pride in their work. I used the word chef on purpose, someone really thought about how the sandwich should be put together and order high quality ingredients. The grind of the meat was delicious. Not too fatty but full of flavor and cooked to temperature (you get to choose). It was nicely seasoned and well balanced with the toppings The lettuce was super fresh and not wilted. The red onion was fresh and sliced at a reasonable thickness. Here's the best part - the bacon. 2 slices of perfectly cooked high quality bacon. It had great salty/savory balance. It was NOT tough or chewy. I highly recommend the bacon. The bun was perfect, not too heavy or light for the meat and toppings. I'd recommend for a high quality lunch.

WWow!!!! The chicken & waffle sandwich - where do I even start?! That thing was AMAZING!!!! The Farmer burger made my son one happy boy! Amazing food! Will be back! Juan was our server and they were SLAMMED due to a power shortage, and other restaurants sending people there. Service was amazing & pretty quick! Thanks guys!!! Keep being rock stars!!!
